Life on Lockdown

When the world locked down, I found an unexpected chronicler: my own fictional hero.

I wanted to keep track of what was happening as the COVID-19 pandemic shattered normality. Lacking the emotional distance for diary writing, I handed the pen to Gareth Flynn - one of the main characters from the Power of Zero series.

This is the result.

Gareth's lockdown diary - a day-by-day account of the realities of the pandemic set, but set in the Power of Zero world. 

Roughly set after A Simple Mistake, and referencing events from the first six books, it’s also a time capsule, a writer’s survival tactic, and a unique love letter to the stories that sustain us.
